My story
Let's rethink the marketing strategy decks that collect dust.
I’ve spent more than a decade building demand for software and data-driven analytics companies selling into health systems and pharma. Most recently, I was the founding marketer at Intelligencia AI, where I built the marketing foundation and demand strategy from the ground up, with limited resources and measurable revenue impact.
My career runs through growth-stage and enterprise organizations, including ModMed, LexisNexis Risk Solutions and IQVIA, where I led go-to-market initiatives and built a reputation for turning complex technology into clear, differentiated messaging that moves revenue and supports real business decisions. Today, through ABF Marketing, I partner with founders and executive teams to replace random acts of marketing with focused systems that actually move the business forward.
Here’s the part that shapes how I work: I don’t believe in sitting in a meeting because you’re supposed to be there. If a conversation isn’t building pipeline, sharpening the message or moving a decision forward, that hour is better spent on the work itself. Focus is the whole model. I help founders and early-stage marketing teams identify the two or three things that will actually move their business, and everything else waits until it earns a place on the list.
That’s also why I don’t hand over a strategy deck and disappear. I build and execute alongside your team, covering messaging, branding, demand generation, media buying, content strategy, sales enablement and go-to-market planning. Every recommendation ties back to the goal driving the engagement, whether that’s new enrollment, new partnerships or a stronger pipeline heading into next quarter.
I also build with AI, not around it. It’s how I operate like a small team instead of one person: AI handles the research, the iteration and the first-draft grind, and I handle the strategy, the relationships and the judgment calls no dashboard can make for you. You’re not hiring one fractional CMO. You’re getting a senior marketing leader who works like a team of several.

“Strategy without marketing is a great idea talking to itself in an empty room.”
Why Part-Time Executive Marketing
Good people building good things deserve marketing that matches their ambition.
There’s real satisfaction in helping a founder who has already done the hard part — earning a product people trust — finally get the marketing engine to match it.
Marketing should be treated as a revenue accelerator, not a line item to justify.
Done right, it doesn’t just create awareness. It makes your company, your people and your solution better known to the exact buyers who need them.
Fractional leadership gives earlier-stage companies a lower-risk, higher-reward path to executive marketing.
You get outside perspective and senior judgment without the time or cost of hiring, mentoring or training someone into the role.
I want to leave every engagement with no regrets, for you and for me.
That means being straight about what will move the needle for your business and equally straight about what won’t, so your marketing dollars go toward the goals, not toward busywork.

My husband’s name is also Alex. Our Alexa got renamed to avoid chaos. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me testing out new recipes in the kitchen, sweating on my indoor bike, or planning our next trip. As a former D1 athlete, my work ethic and competitive nature come to the table in all my professional engagements (or when playing pickleball).
